Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Funzory collects when you use https://funzory.com, why it is collected, and what choices you have. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than legal boilerplate.

The short version

• We do not ask you to create an account and we do not collect your name or email unless you send us one.
• Your game scores are stored in your own browser and are never uploaded to us.
• We show advertising through Google AdSense, which uses cookies.
• We use privacy-respecting analytics to count page views in aggregate.

Information we collect

Information you give us. If you email us, we receive whatever you put in that message. We use it only to reply and we do not add it to any mailing list.

Information collected automatically. Like almost every website, our hosting provider records standard server logs: IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. These logs are used for security and to diagnose faults, and are retained for a limited period.

Game data. Your personal best scores are written to your browser local storage. This data physically stays on your device — it is not transmitted to our servers, because the games do not communicate with a server at all. Clearing your browser data for this site deletes it permanently.

Cookies and advertising

Funzory is funded by advertising. We use Google AdSense to serve ads on this site.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you will be shown a consent message before personalised advertising cookies are set, and you can change your choice at any time through that message.

Analytics

We measure how many people visit each page so we know which games are worth expanding. This measurement is aggregate — it tells us that a page was viewed, not who viewed it.

Children

Funzory is a general audience website and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing.
